Both of these maps demonstrate the population in Livingston County, NY during the year 2020. All of the data was collected from the NYS GIS Clearing House. The first map is a choropleth map where each different colored grid showcases the corresponding value found in the legend. The second map is showcasing the same data but in a different form. Map two is a proportional symbols map where the greater the population density in a given area, the greater the circle. I personally think the choropleth map presents the population density data more understandably for this particular area. Trying to figure out what data I wanted to present and then nitpicking the maps is really what took the most time in this assignment.
